Club Events: Mid-November — Mid-December 2025
Friday 14th November 2025 It’s finally here — “Shelly does Strictly”. Doors open at 6:00pm with the dancing due to start around 7:00pm. Entry is free. We will be live streaming the event from The Life Church Burnley on three TVs. Everyone’s invited to come along and join the fun — children welcome. After months of fundraising, Shelly and friends have raised over £16,000 (including gift aid) — a phenomenal effort. We will take one final opportunity to raise some funds for Pendleside Hospice with a raffle on the night, so please bring some cash although card payments will be accepted. Live Link: If you weren’t lucky enough to get a ticket or can’t make it down to the club, the event will be streamed live. Last year over 1,200 people were watching at one time, with many hosting watch parties at home with family and friends. Saturday 29th November 2025 Super Saturday in the CEF Lounge between 1:00–5:30pm. We will keep a keen eye on developments at the Gtech Community Stadium with the Clarets away to Brentford at 3:00pm. There is a private function in the club in the evening so please vacate appropriately.

Our next Community Walk is at 11:00am led by Abbie.
This is the perfect chance to lace up your walking shoes, breathe in the fresh autumn air, and discover some of the scenic routes and hidden corners of our local area that you might not have explored before.
But the walk is about so much more than simply stretching your legs. These community events are designed to bring people together. They’re a relaxed and welcoming way to catch up with friends, meet new faces, and share good conversations while enjoying the outdoors.
Whether you’re a familiar face around the club, someone brand new to Lowerhouse, or just looking for a reason to get out and about, you’ll be made to feel part of the group.
The pace is steady and suitable for all — it’s about connection and enjoyment, not competition. So come along, bring a friend, and be part of this growing tradition. We can’t wait to see you there!

It’s the third scheduled Quiz of the Autumn/Winter season. Quizzie Rascal returns.

- Quiz starts: 8:00pm
- Max teams: 6
- Entry: £4 per person (includes supper)
- Prizes for 1st & 2nd place and entry into the £100 question
- All teams must be registered prior to the event for catering purposes — no walk-ins
