A Walk Down Memory Lane – 50 Years of Community Spirit
As our community walks return, our friends at BCTHIC.org have uncovered a real gem — a photograph from a one-off community walk in 1975, exactly 50 years ago!
After asking around, we’ve already spotted a few familiar faces — Brian Higgin proudly front and centre, along with our MD Matthew’s grandma, grandad, auntie and uncle.
Today, our walks are all about bringing people together and strengthening that sense of connection that makes Lowerhouse so special. Seeing this photo reminds us that community spirit has always been at the heart of what we do — and it’s something we’ve clearly never lost.
