After a decade away, the amazing Jam Tribute band THE JAM RESTART have reformed for two comeback gigs, one of them being at Lowerhouse Cricket Club on Friday 2nd December 2016.

Their first gig since reforming was last Friday at The Upermill Civic Hall in their hometown of Oldham and the event has earned rave reviews on social media and in the local press.

Five hundred Restart fans packed out the Oldham venue as front man Mark Stelfox, bassist Mike Greatbanks and drummer Stuart Reid made a truly emphatic return.

Simon Smedley of the Oldham Evening Chronicle wrote, “As the Restart roared through their hit after hit set cherished by all fans of Paul Wellers late 70’s and early 80’s Jam trailblazers, I hadn’t heard crowd enthusiasm and noise like it anywhere in or around Oldham for years.

The punters were bouncing, the beer was flying and from the start of the night to the end, the whole atmosphere was almost euphoric.

The reaction to Down in the Tube Station at Midnight during the encore was quite something else”.

Tickets for the Lowerhouse Cricket Club gig are now available but are limited to two hundred, once they have gone they have gone.

The tickets are priced at £10.00 each and are available from the club or by contacting Shelly on 07840562002.
