Lowerhouse Cricket Club are delighted to confirm that one of Burnley’s biggest and longest-running annual community events, Burnley’s Best Bonfire & Fireworks, will return on Saturday 7th November 2026.
A firm favourite in the local calendar, the event has been bringing families and the community together at Lowerhouse for many years, with thousands enjoying a fantastic evening of fireworks, fairground rides, food, drink and entertainment.
We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back once again for another memorable night at Lowerhouse.
More details, including sponsors, attractions and ticket information, will be announced in the build-up to the event.
Event Information
Gates Open: 4.30pm — with two entry points:
- Main Gate: via David Wren Way, off Lowerhouse Lane
- Entry Gate: Liverpool Road
Important: There is no facility to pay on the gate. Entry is by ticket only.
Please bring cash for food, bars and fairground attractions, as some outlets may be cash-only.

Attractions & Facilities
Burnley’s Best Bonfire & Fireworks is an annual highlight at Lowerhouse Cricket Club, with something for all the family.
A full list of attractions, food outlets and facilities will be confirmed closer to the event, but visitors can once again look forward to:

- A spectacular fireworks display
- Club bar facilities
- Food and drink outlets
- Hot drinks and snacks
- Toilets inside the clubhouse, with additional facilities around the ground

Important Notices
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
- No personal fireworks or sparklers — bag searches may be in place
- No external alcohol — bag searches may be in place
- Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated
- Tickets are non-refundable (online booking fee may apply)
- Challenge 25 Policy applies for alcohol sales — please bring valid ID if you look under 25

There is no parking available on the club grounds.
