Club News – Ins/Outs and County Call Ups

Patrick Martin and John Walker have passed their level 2 coaching badge – congratulations to them both.

Georgia Clough is currently training with the County under 11s Girls squad.

Sophie Greenwood and Ainslie Wolstenholme have been selected for the under 13s County Girls Squad.

Amelia Ripley, Hannah Till, Shannon Jackson and Maddy White have all been selected for Lancashire County under 15 girls squad.

Hannah Till is currently touring South Africa with the County under 19s team.

Harry Spark (under 12) has joined the club from Burnley and along with Josh Lavin (u15) has reached the outdoor stage of the County trials.

The under 11s, 13s and 15s District trials have now finished with 25 Lowerhouse lads having taken part. The annual competition at Lytham was called off due to the conditions.

15 juniors attended the Rossendale Coaching School run by Nick Westwell who described them as a credit to the club.

All junior training at Shuttleworth on Friday’s and Thomas Whitham on Sunday’s has now been completed with over 100 taking part. Juniors will be advised by text when the outdoor nets start.

Corey Hope is recovering well from his twisted knee cap injury.

4 juniors have attended a scoring course run by the Ribblesdale League.

The friendly against Grimsagh was cancelled due to the conditions. Senior nets start continue outdoors on Thursdays and will begin on Tuesdays also on 13/04/10, weather permitting.

Outs

Matthew Collins returns to Littleborough as the travelling was too much for him.

Jack McGregor moves to Middlewich as a favour to his County sponsor.

Adam Hope will not play this season to concentrate on his work commitments.

Paul Stansfield has retired.

Joe Hawke will play as professional Astley and Tyldsley.

Stuart Grant will play for Sale CC.

Phil Edmondson has retired.
