Fourth Eleven Fall to Clitheroe

The Fourth Eleven travelled to Chatburn Road to take on Clitheroe and, after losing the toss,
were asked to bat first.

Lowerhouse produced a solid batting performance, posting 185 for 3 from their 40 overs.
Logan Howarth top scored with 56, while
Hammad Aurangzeb added 55. There was also a valuable contribution
of 30 from Josh Brennand as Lowerhouse set a competitive target.

In reply, Clitheroe reached 186 for 6 in just 35 overs to claim
victory by four wickets.

Joshua Lord and Hammad Aurangzeb were the pick of the Lowerhouse
bowlers, each taking 2 wickets, but Clitheroe were able to complete the chase with
five overs to spare.
