Fridays Twenty20 Semi Final

Friday’s Final T20 Group games were a total wash out which means Lowerhouse progressed into the semi-finals for the first time since 2005:

The semi-final draw was made on Saturday with Lowerhouse pitched away v Enfield this Friday 5th July with a 6.15 scheduled start.

The forecast ahead is looking good and a bumper gate is expected at Dill Hall Lane for this game.

Secretary Frank Entwistle reminded supporter’s

“ Having discussed the match with Enfield officials over the weekend we both reiterate that there is no ban on taking your own refreshments into the game.

We all accept that cricket is a costly business and clubs need to maximise their revenues in terms of gates, income and events so please do your bit to support your own club and our fellow League clubs by limiting the number of can’s you bring to just 4 if you feel the need to take any at all.

Please give due consideration to the fact that all Lancashire League club’s struggle to finance their cricket operations each year and I would ask you all to support your club and our fellow League clubs by utilizing the facilities they offer

Enfield will be providing additional external bar facilities including cans @ £1.50 so please let’s get over the Lane and provide another lets hope we get yet another fantastic advertisement for the Lancashire League”
