Good Friday – All the details!

Spring is well and truly in the air and this week’s fine weather has given us welcome a boost with the Good Friday 2016 cricket event almost upon us.

The event on – Friday 25th March 2016, with the bar open and tea room &  open cricket commencing at 10.00am with the winner’s walking away with Jack Hayes Memorial Trophy

It will be another fun packed day for all the family with entertainment, games and prizes to be won and food / drink through the day.

There will be a free live act at 4.00pm as from House favourites SPARK (formerly the Jam Restart) take us into the early evening

Teams are lining up to take part but we still have a couple of spots available with invitations still now open to enter a team.

Each team consists of 10 players and everyone will compete in the field and with bat and ball. It will be run on a league basis so each team will play more than one game.

The first game will start around 10 am and the final should be over by around 4.00 pm. This will have to be flexible depending how many teams wish to take part and weather on the day but it’s always an excuse to get out of the house early with your friends and loved ones
