Good Friday at Lowerhouse!!
Good Friday will see the second year of the Jack Hayes memorial trophy taking place at the club.
The competition is very much a fun occasion with 6 teams playing a mini league and then the final around 3 pm.
The confirmed teams for this years event are:-
- BGSOB CC, captained/managed by Kev Bailey, pro Joe Beneduce.
- Lowerhouse Mills Canteen, captained/managed by Ken Chip, pro Matt Hope.
- Lowerhouse Legends, captained/managed by Brian Higgin, pro Adam Hope.
- Lowerhouse Supporters, captained/managed by Dave Gardner, pro Chris Benbow.
- Dirk’s Donughts, captained/managed by Sean Durkin, pro Paul Stansfield.
- Shanks Pony’s, captained/managed by Seamus Alexander, pro Will Driver.
Last year was a great sucsess and we are hoping for the same this year. If the conditions dictate that the ground is not fit for full games of cricket we will hold a bowl out no matter what the weather.
Supporters, friends and family are all welcome. The bar will be open all day and there is food available. Local group “The Outside” will be performing in the club house at around 4 pm.
