House beat Northern
We made it two in two with a win away at Liverpool Comp side, Northern.
House lost the toss for the second time this weekend and we’re put in by Northern.
After a steadyish start, they were 20/2 with Ben and Paddy back in the dressing room. 3 wickets in quick succession saw Dean, Pro and Jonny fall and the scores were 48/5. A rally from Charlie and Blez, putting on 63 for the 7th wicket brought the score to 169 and we were bowled out with a ball to go. Blez top scored with 45, Charlie 31 and Joey 24.
In reply, House again took wickets at steady intervals but Chris Lakers 82 looked to be taking it away from the House it’s just 20 required off 3 overs with two wickets remaining and him still in. Charlie came on to bowl and took the last two wickets with his first two balls. Joey and Ben also took 2, Stephen, Finchy and Toxy one a piece.
