Lowerhouse’s Eliza Cottam Re-Selected for Lancashire Thunder Academy

Lowerhouse Cricket Club is proud to announce that Eliza Cottam has been re-selected for the Lancashire Thunder Academy for the 2025/26 season.

Eliza, who continues to impress with her performances at club level, retains her place among 13 talented players chosen to be part of the Academy this winter. The programme provides an elite pathway for young women cricketers in Lancashire, offering specialised coaching and development opportunities at Emirates Old Trafford.

Head of Girls Talent Pathway Stewart Davidson said:

“I would like to congratulate all of the players who have either retained their place or joined the Lancashire Thunder Academy for 2025/26. The players demonstrate not only talent on the field but also the behaviours and attitudes that will help them progress in the game.”

The Thunder Academy has seen exciting progressions recently, including Tilly Kesteven earning a professional contract and several players continuing to shine in County Age Group cricket. The Academy began its winter training programme at Emirates Old Trafford in November, and Eliza will once again be part of the squad developing her skills alongside some of the best young talent in the region.

Lowerhouse CC congratulates Eliza on her selection and looks forward to following her continued success with Lancashire Thunder.
