Sad news -Jean Wrigley Obituary
Lowerhouse Cricket Club are sorry to announce the passing of long time club member Jean Wrigley.
Jean had been a member of the club for over half a century and had been the manager of the tea room and a 100 club member.
Jean was a true Lowerhouser having lived on Thornhill Street. Mum Ada had also been a tea room worker and dad Leonard a gateman at the club.
In her later years Jean still visited the club on match days from her Hapton home but in the last year or so had been in Plymouth nearer her family as her health failed.
Jean was very popular in her time following the club. She was a hard worker, a very sincere and great conversationalist with a sharp sense of humour.
Our condolences go out to the family, Muriel and Rita and nephew Matt who has been in touch with the club.
