Lowerhouse Third Eleven travelled to Enfield on Saturday. Winning the toss, House elected to bat but were bowled out for 110 in 29.4 overs. Oliver Roberts played a crucial knock from number nine, scoring 31, lifting the total from 54 for 8 to a more competitive figure.
In reply, Enfield reached the target six wickets down in 23.2 overs. Taylor de Vries was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 for 8 from just 2 overs.
Fourth Eleven
Pinky’s Fourth Eleven secured another win at home to Accrington. The visitors batted first after winning the toss and made 197 for 8 from their 40 overs. Joshua Nelson continued his fine form with the ball, taking 3 for 24 from 8 overs.
In reply, Lowerhouse showed real fight, chasing down the target nine wickets down with 2.2 overs remaining. Logan Howarth top-scored with 47, while Dave Krupinski added 46 in a hard-fought run chase.
