Premier Division leaders Lowerhouse will look to wrap up their first Lancashire League title since 2014 on Sunday when they entertain next to bottom club Rochdale.
Ben Heap’s men are still 42 points clear and need seven points to clinch the title after losing at Ramsbottom last Sunday. Rochdale also lost to Todmorden last Sunday. Lowerhouse won the reverse fixture by 94 runs back in June. Joe Hawke returns for Lowerhouse in place of Charlie Cottam. Rochdale call up veteran wicketkeeper Roger Oldfield. Mark Helliwell, Zac Ayres and Aadam Latif also come in for Ben Chapman, Tom Gilbertson, Haroon Kashmiri and Harry Butterworth. The JW Lees Lancashire League Championship Trophy will be presented on Sunday if the title is won on the day.
The Second Eleven can also secure promotion with 9 points in the Junior League Second Division.
