Lowerhouse Cricket Club are saddened to hear of the passing of long time supporter, member and friend Dave Cartwright. Dave has passed after an aggressive illness. Dave was a popular character at the club and had supported us since the 1970s. His mother and father were popular landlords at the Lane Ends where many of us from the cricket club socialised, often long into the night.
Dave’s funeral will be at Burnley Crematorium on Monday August 19th at 12.15. The wake will be held at the cricket club following the cremation.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Dave’s family
