Lowerhouse Cricket Club are saddened to announce the passing of long time member and supporter Dave Fawcett after an aggressive illness.
Dave began watching us in the struggling times in the early seventies and it was fitting that many of us were able to see Dave at this year’s cup final where we were able to say our farewells. We hope that the day was some comfort to Dave. Dave was a hugely popular man on the cricket scene, at work and socially within the town.
The funeral will take place at Burnley Crematorium at 1.30pm on Monday September 23rd followed by the wake which we are honoured to host.
