Sad News – Michael Payne and Dot Gade

We are again saddened to have to announce funeral details for persons connected to the club.

Michael Payne’s funeral will take place at 10am at Burnley Crematorium on Thursday March 2nd.

Michael  had been associated with the club with son Simon representing the first eleven in the 1990s and in more recent years as photographer in chief at junior matches for grandchildren Henri and Eliza Cottam.

Dot Gade’s funeral is 12.15pm at Burnley Crematorium on Friday March 10th. Along with husband Mick, Dot ran the tea room during son Ian’s time at the club and their samosas and bhajis were beyond comparison. Mick and Dot still providing the same at junior matches involving grandchildren Bryce, Phoebe and Elliot Johnstone.
