Will Norcross 45*                    Joe Gray 3-38

Joe Bayliff 35*

Joe Halstead 30

Harry Halstead 13

A devastating injury to Corey Hope and the loss of overs in the wait for the ambulance threatened to derail the Lowerhouse batting effort but a 70 stand from Norcross and Bayliff gave a defendable total. Burnley chipped and then hacked away at the total but the wicket of the increasingly belligerent Matt Tomlinson changed the game. Burnley required 6 off the last over but could only manage 4 singles from Joe Halstead’s over. Sadly Corey hope will be out for 3 months with a knee injury
