The 2020 season – The Return of recreational cricket

On Friday, the ECB & The Governments updated us to the return of recreational cricket effective 11/7/2020 and at the time of writing we still await the formal documents and guidelines.

However, the Lancashire League have not been inactive over the past 12-15 weeks they have been working hard and liaising with clubs with a view to creating a solution to 2020 cricket.

I am pleased to confirm the intention is to re-start on the first weekend in August with the 1st, 2nds & 3rd Eleven competing for Presidents Trophies further information and fixtures to be released 11/7/20 with friendlies to be played before the formal competition beings
