Burnley’s Best Bonfire at Lowerhouse Cricket Club is back for 2023
Saturday 4th November
Lowerhouse are delighted to announce that two local companies have come forward and will jointly sponsor our 2023 Community Bonfire & Fireworks Event
Our neighbours MKM Burnley have again rallied to our aide along with local firm Groundwork Direct Ltd
MKM opened on Liverpool Road aside then Cricket Club in 2018 it’s all about going the extra mile providing unbeatable service and fantastic products at great prices
Groundwork Direct Ltd, Co-Director Terry Dand is a longstanding House fan, his company provide Civil engineering & granite paving specialists, Excavation, Drainage, concrete, Asphalt and much more
On behalf of the Club, we would like to thank both companies for their support which is greatly appreciated
About this event
The event gates open at 5.00pm with 2 points of entry:
- The Main gate – via David Wren Way Off Lowerhouse Lane
- The Entry gate on Liverpool Road available
NOTE: THERE IS NO FACILITY TO PAY ON THE GATE AT THIS YEARS EVENT – ITS TICKET ONLY
PLEASE BRING CASH, AS THE MAJORITY OF THIS EVENT, CAN BAR , FOOD, FAIR ETC IS CASH ONLY.
Tickets can be purchased using the link below or from outlets as follows:
Mooch Cafe (Padiham), Emma’s News (Dugdale Road/Padiham Road), The Post Office – Rosegrove via the club contact Stan on 07941439741
ALSO, KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER & DRESS APPROPRIATELY.
The usual fairground rides will be in attendance and operational at 5.00pm.
The club’s bar opens at 5.00pm with a full range of drinks.
In front of the club on the decking our ‘cash’ Can bar should reduce queue times and will be available selling pint cans of Stella, Dark Fruits, Fosters & Strongbow only at £2.50 each
North West Street Food will operate from the club’s tea-room facility and a number of additional outlets will be available to purchase food, drink and sweets
DC Coffee will have both vans in attendance providing top quality hot drinks and snacks –
Toilet Facilities: Ladies and Gents toilets are located inside the cub house, with additional portaloo’s positioned directly aside the steps that lead into the club’s bar
Finally
STRICTLY U16’s need to be accompanied by an adult
STRICTLY – No personal Fireworks – this includes Sparklers – Bag searches are likely and will be conducted by our fully licensed security team
STRICTLY – No external alcohol to be brought into the event – Bag searches are likely and will be conducted by our fully licensed security team
ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
Tickets are non-refundable and a booking fee applies
SALE OF ALCOHOL – the club operates a challenge 25 policy so please ensure if you are fortunate to look under 25 you bring appropriate ID
Please be aware that there is NO PARKING available on the ground at this event
We ask accordingly that you park with consideration to our neighbours and in accordance with road traffic regulations at all times.
Free parking for up to 250 cars is available on Liverpool Road just a short walk from our Liverpool Road entry gate
