First Eleven v Burnley
Lowerhouse won the toss and elected to bat on a dry but breezy day at the Brooks Foundation Ground.
Ben got Lowerhouse off to a flyer, racing to 35 on what at times looked a tricky pitch for batting. Jonny Whitehead then anchored the innings superbly, carrying his bat for 97 not out as Lowerhouse finished on 197 for 9.
Chris Bleazard also reached another incredible milestone during the innings, passing 17,000 Lancashire League runs.
In reply, Burnley recovered well after slipping to 14 for 2, building partnerships to reach 139 at the fall of the fourth wicket. Lowerhouse fought back again, reducing the visitors to five down with 46 needed from the final five overs.
Burnley kept themselves in the contest and eventually needed 9 from the final over. Bharat struck a boundary from the first ball before two dot balls followed. Salpi then produced a key moment behind the stumps to complete a stumping.
With 5 needed from the final two balls, Burnley managed only a single from the penultimate delivery. Ocki attempted a sweep from the last ball but could only pick up another single as Lowerhouse held their nerve to win the derby once again.

Second Eleven v Burnley
The Second Eleven suffered their first defeat of the season away at Burnley in front of some rowdy Aston Villa fans.
Lowerhouse were bowled out for 113 from 33 overs, with Charlie Bithell top scoring with 28.
Burnley made light work of the chase, reaching their target for the loss of just two wickets in 22.4 overs.
