Cup Exit for the Seconds
The Second Eleven bowed out of the JW Lees Junior Cup at the hands of Littleborough in a rain-affected tie on Sunday.
Littleborough set a strong target of 224-4 from a reduced 44 overs. Oliver Williams was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets.
In reply, Lowerhouse struggled to build partnerships and were dismissed for 89. Skipper Declan Stansfield top-scored with 24, while Jax Edwards added 15.

Fourth Eleven Make it Two From Two
The Fourth Eleven continued their strong start to the league campaign with a comfortable win over Accrington Third Eleven.
After Accrington won the toss and batted, they were bowled out for 94. Sami Sadaqat and Joe Clark both impressed, taking three wickets each.
Lowerhouse chased the total down with ease, reaching the target two down in 24.1 overs. Joe Clark capped a fine all-round performance with 35 not out, while Aayan Malik contributed 37.
