Junior cricket and training begin from 6.15pm, with the club bar open from 5.00pm.

All Stars and Dynamos continue from 6.15pm. Please see the club website for further details.
Parking Information
- Lowerhouse Squad Training: Please park within the ground along the bottom wall by Lowerhouse Lane (Lowerhouse Lane banking).
- All Stars Parents/Guardians: Please use the club’s main car park.
- Dynamos Parents/Guardians: Please park on Liverpool Road or Empire Way and enter via the Liverpool Road gate.
- External Parking: If parking on Lowerhouse Lane or Lowerhouse Crescent, please be considerate of local residents by keeping driveways and rear access clear at all times.
Bradford City v Burnley in Round 2 of the Carabao Cup is live on Sky at 7.45pm and will be available to watch on the TVs.
In the event of inclement weather, the bar will open at 6.30pm. Keep an eye out for social media updates.

There is also a function in the club as we say our farewells to Gary & Amy Sutcliffe, Thomas & Ava before they emigrate to Australia.
Both the Main Room and CEF Lounge will be in use, but it is open access for cricket followers.
Saturday 29th August 2026
There is no game at Lowerhouse, the Fourth Eleven play away at Colne, however, the club will be open for a social from 1.30pm, with Test Match Cricket from Lord’s as England face Pakistan.
We’ll also be keeping a close eye on events at Carrow Road as Burnley face Norwich at 3.00pm.
Then at 5.30pm, Tottenham v Newcastle will be live on Sky.

Lowerhouse First Eleven v Darwen
Lowerhouse First Eleven welcome Darwen CC to The Brooks Foundation Ground in a scheduled 50-over Lancashire League fixture, starting at 12.30pm.
Admission:
- Members: Free on production of booklet
- Non-members: £4.00
- Concessions: £2.00
The club bar and Boundary Bites will be available from 12 noon.
There’s a whole host of sporting action throughout the day, including Test Match Cricket from Lord’s as England face Pakistan, live Premier League football at 2.00pm, followed by our featured game, Manchester United v Ipswich at 4.30pm.
House Second Eleven Away at Darwen
House Second Eleven travel to Birch Hall to play Darwen 2nds in a scheduled 45-over game, starting at 12.30pm.

Following the conclusion of the Lancashire League fixture between Lowerhouse and Darwen, we’re delighted to welcome Xanthe Kay for her Lowerhouse debut.
Starting at approximately 7.45pm, Xanthe will be bringing a fantastic mix of Country, Classical and Covers to the club.
Whether you’re staying after the cricket or joining us especially for the entertainment, it’s set to be a great evening for members, supporters and guests.

Lowerhouse Fourth Eleven are in league action against Accrington 3rds at 12.30pm.
This is a scheduled 40-over game with free entry.
