Lowerhouse plan for the future. Delroy studies one of his pupil’s straight bat, watched by coaches Bushell (white sweater) and Chris Scott. Lowerhouse officials are highly delighted with the response to their coaching scheme which will be known as the Craig Heaton Youth Development Scheme, to be held every Wednesday evening. Over 60, between the ages of 11 and 16, turned up to receive expert coaching from the club’s West Indian professional, Delroy Morgan, from Graham Bushell, professional at Baxenden and former Lowerhouse wicket keeper, Chris Scott. The youngsters have received free membership and the sessions start at 6.30pm.
Craig Heaton was the young West End player who died tragically recently.
