In 2015, Lowerhouse welcomed back one of its most iconic professionals — Ryan Harris — for a special occasion that marked another milestone in the club’s proud history.
Fresh from a stellar international career with Australia, Harris returned to the West End to officially open Lowerhouse’s brand-new changing rooms, a major investment in the club’s future and facilities.
Harris, who had made a huge impact on and off the field during his time as professional at Lowerhouse, was the perfect choice to cut the ribbon. His return brought back fond memories of his time at the club, including unforgettable performances and his key role in transforming the team’s belief and standards.
The opening was more than just a formal ceremony — it was a celebration of how far the club had come, and a nod to the people and players who helped make it happen.
A proud day for everyone involved at Lowerhouse, and one that reminded us: once a West Ender, always a West Ender.
