Fourth Eleven vs Todmorden Fourths

The Fourth Eleven faced Todmorden Fourths at the Brooks, with Todmorden winning the toss and fielding first.

14-year-old opener Abdullah Rafeeq Ahmed stole the show and carried his bat, making exactly
100 from 117 balls. He was ably assisted by Jessica Gizon (33*) for the fourth wicket,
with the pair putting on an outstanding 124-run partnership.
Seth Finch also contributed well with 26.

Clinical with the ball, the Fourth Eleven bowled Todmorden out for 133 off 29 overs.
Ollie Bennett and Luca Moretta led the way, taking 3 wickets apiece.

Third Eleven vs Great Harwood

The Third Eleven were in action at Great Harwood, winning the toss and electing to bat.

Great Harwood got off to a flying start and at one stage were 180 without loss, but Lowerhouse
fought back well to restrict them to 262 for 5 off their 40 overs.

In reply, Lowerhouse kept pace with the required run rate, with another youngster stepping up.
Opener Joe Clark carried his bat and scored an excellent
102 from 126 balls.

Lowerhouse finished on 197 for 5 from their 40 overs.
