We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to The Brooks Foundation Ground for what promises to be an unforgettable evening as England take on Argentina in the FIFA World Cup Semi-Final.
Our aim is simple. We want to deliver the ultimate World Cup experience, with the match shown live from Atlanta on our huge 5m x 2.5m outdoor big screen.
Before you arrive, please take a few minutes to read the important information below to help everyone enjoy a safe and fantastic evening.

Important Information
- Please be patient with our staff and volunteers as they work hard to deliver the best possible service.
- If you’re attending with friends, please look after each other. If something doesn’t seem right, speak to a member of our security team.
- This is an all-ticket event and is completely SOLD OUT. No further tickets will be released. No ticket, no entry.
- Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone arriving without an accompanying adult will not be admitted, as stated in the original ticket information.
- No external alcohol is permitted. Bag searches may be carried out by our licensed security team as a condition of entry.
- You are welcome to bring your own food, but no BBQs.
Respect the Club
Lowerhouse Cricket Club is powered by volunteers and supported by our fantastic community.
Please help us look after the club by:
- Treating benches, walls and facilities with care.
- Returning glasses and disposing of rubbish in bins or at the bar.
- Respecting our staff, volunteers and fellow supporters.
Ground Rules
To help everyone enjoy the evening safely, please note the following:
- No bicycles or scooters are permitted anywhere within the event.
- Football and cricket games are welcome but must be confined to the Lowerhouse Lane side of the ground or the Liverpool Road side near the park.
- Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
- The ground is not an adventure playground. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
- Please note that the MKM embankment is not Lowerhouse Cricket Club property. The club accepts no responsibility for this area.
Challenge 25
Challenge 25 will be in operation throughout the event.
If you are aged 18 or over but look under 25, you may be asked to produce valid photo ID when purchasing alcohol or entering licensed areas.
Please remember it is also illegal to buy or attempt to buy alcohol for anyone under the age of 18. This is known as a proxy purchase and may result in prosecution.
Parking
There is no public parking available at the ground for this event.
The club car park is reserved for neighbours and authorised staff only.
On-street parking will be limited and is subject to any restrictions put in place by Lancashire Constabulary.
If you are parking nearby, please be considerate to our neighbours:
- Do not block driveways.
- Do not park across dropped kerbs.
- Park legally and do not abandon your vehicle.
Entry Information
Entry is by ticket only via the main gate on David Wren Way (off Lowerhouse Lane).
The Supporters’ Gate on Liverpool Road will NOT be open and must not be used.
Gates open at 5.00pm. Please do not arrive before this time.
Entry Process
- Please have your ticket downloaded and ready to scan.
- Once scanned, your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband.
- Adults and Under 18s will receive different coloured wristbands.
- Anyone under 18 must enter with an accompanying adult.
Once inside the ground:
- Your wristband must be worn at all times.
- If your wristband becomes damaged, please visit either bar or speak to a member of security.
- Bag searches may be carried out on entry or at any point during the event.
Seating
Inside the Clubhouse
Approximately 130 indoor seats are available with four additional televisions showing the match.
These are available on a first come, first served basis.
Outside Seating
Premium Picnic Benches
- 27 picnic bench bookings (144 seats)
- Sold Out
Additional Seating
- Over 100 outdoor chairs will be available on a first come, first served basis.
- Over 100 benches are located around the ground for general use before and during the event.
- Supporters are welcome to bring their own chairs.
Please do not place your own seating in front of premium picnic bench areas. Designated BYO seating areas are shown on the event map. Security may ask you to move if necessary.
Bars
All drinks will be served in plastic glasses for this event.
Main Club Bar
- Open from 5.00pm.
- Cash and card accepted.
- Members’ prices available on production of a valid membership card.
Members: Please present your membership card when ordering. Staff will not be using the till search facility during this event.
Outside Bar (Card Only)
- Cruzcampo, San Miguel and Guinness – £5
- Manchester Craft, Strongbow and Strongbow Dark Fruits – £4
- Soft drinks and bottled water – £1
- Membership cards are not permitted.
Batch Gin will also be joining us with a range of gin serves and cocktails.
The outdoor bars will close at the final whistle. The main clubhouse bar will remain open until 11.00pm.
Catering
Boundary Bites will be serving throughout the evening from an outdoor catering area with a reduced event menu.
Food available includes:
- BBQ Burgers
- Hot Dogs
- Chips
- Pie & Peas
Cash and card payments are accepted.
You are also welcome to bring your own food.
Pre-Match Entertainment
From 5.00pm until kick-off, our good friend Lenny Dewhurst – The Prince of Mince will be providing the soundtrack to the evening from the main decking area.
Expect plenty of football favourites and party classics to get everyone in the mood before kick-off.
Toilets
- Male and female toilets are located inside the clubhouse.
- Accessible facilities are available in the West End Room on request.
- A gentlemen’s urinal is located behind the Groundsman’s Hut.
- An additional temporary toilet block will be positioned at the rear of the Fan Zone.
