First Silverware for the House!
Lowerhouse won the Ron Singleton trophy, by beating Burnley at Turf Moor this afternoon.
Ben won the toss and batted first. A slight sticky start being 3/2 with Joe and Paz back in the pavilion. Ben and Franky put on 101 for the third wicket and House finished 159 all out off 48.1 overs. Frankie hit 64 and Ben 33.
In reply, some tight bowling saw Burnley get off to a slow start and we’re tied down throughout the innings. Tom Walker continued his fine start as a Houser with 5 wickets for 16 off 8 overs, securing the trophy bowling Burnley out for 77.
