Can you believe our little podcast about little old Lowerhouse has reached 100 episodes?

To celebrate we have roped in Englands’ Head Coach for the ODI and T20 format and ex Lowerhouse professional Matthew Mott. Motty tells us about his early days in cricket, his time in the Lancashire League and his further career in this special 2 parter.

In part two we focus on his later playing days and everything he’s done as a coach.

Motty is joined by regular hosts Jez Hope, Joe Martin, Gav Shields and Gary Moorhouse. Matt Hope also jumps in as he was Mottys captain when he played for us in 1998.

Matt played his cricket at Queensland and Victoria and has coached New South Wales Blues, Glamorgan, Australia Women (to 2 World Cups!) and recently took the England job, and coached them to the latest World Cup win
