In joint statement issued today Burnley CC & Lowerhouse CC CIC Ltd announce:

“Club officials from Burnley CC and Lowerhouse CC had already been liaising over the forthcoming T20 game at Turf Moor on Friday 28th June 2013.

Sunday’s Worsley Cup Semi-Final draw has pitched the neighbouring club’s together earlier on Sunday 23rd June 2013.

Discussions were already at an advanced stage and have now been completed and finalised to ensure the organisational logistics of such an occasion are resolved

The Semi-Final is destined to be biggest Derby game in recent history with a place in the 88th Worsley Cup Final at stake.

A large crowd is expected and delays are possible at the gate please bear this in mind, arrive early please try to bring correct change to ease congestion entry is Adults £4 Concessions £2 the game commences at 1.00pm

Parking is likely also to be at a premium again arrive early to avoid being disappointed although Burnley CC are working hard for a resolution and further information will be released once known.

Once the Car Park is full supporters are urged to park carefully and in accordance with local traffic regulations

Lowerhouse CC bar will be open Sunday morning 9.00am to facilitate supporter’s travelling to Turf Moor on the barges

Burnley aim to start preparing and getting the ground ready for the Worsley Cup Semi-final early Sunday morning. If you can spare anytime please contact a member of their committee at the weekend.
