Spring is in the Air!

Dear Member, Supporter, or Friend of Lowerhouse CC,

With the hope of warmer weather and brighter nights on the horizon, our attention turns to the 2024 Cricket season.

Cricket 2024:

A number of senior friendlies have been arranged, all envisaged as 1:00 PM starts. However, please keep an eye on social media for updates.

First Eleven:

• 6/4/2024 – Ormskirk (A)
• 7/4/2024 – Colne (A)
• 13/4/2024 – Garstang (H)

Second Eleven:

• 6/4/2024 – Todmorden (A)
• 13/4/2024 – Rawtenstall (A)

The Lancashire League commences on Sunday, 14th April, with the 1st XI away v Rochdale (A) and our 2nd XI v Ramsbottom at home, both with 1:00 PM starts.

While senior and junior practice evenings are ‘weather permitting’ and likely to commence as soon as possible, our Junior Midweek Fixtures aren’t due to commence until 24th April. This is also the likely start date for mid-week bar openings, from Monday to Friday, beginning 24th April 2024 from 5:30 PM. Again, keep an eye on social media for updates.

Many of you are regulars at the club, and we look forward to welcoming you back and thank you for your generous support.

In addition, some of you may have attended our Bonfire event in 2023, and we hope some of our summer activities will entice you back.
