ONE GAME. ONE LEAGUE TITLE. EVERYTHING TO PLAY FOR.
It all comes down to this.
After an incredible season, the Lowerhouse Cricket Club Second Eleven head into the final game of the season with the Division One title on the line.
And what a final game it is.
Lowerhouse vs Norden. This Sunday.
Norden currently sit five points ahead of Lowerhouse, with both sides having played 21 games and won 15.
With up to 12 points available for a victory, the equation is simple:
WIN THE GAME. WIN THE LEAGUE. (As long as bonus points go our way… 🤣)
There is no bigger game to finish the season.
But whatever happens, this Second Eleven deserve enormous credit for what they have achieved already.
Promoted from Division Two last season, the team have stepped up to Division One and immediately competed at the very top of the table.
To finish the season with 15 wins from 21 games is an outstanding achievement in itself.
To then go into the final game with a chance to become Division One champions is something else entirely.
This is a team that has shown consistency, character and quality throughout the season, and they now have the opportunity to finish an extraordinary campaign in the best possible way.
💙💛 ONE LAST PUSH
The players have done the hard work all season.
Now they need the support of the whole Lowerhouse family.
Get yourselves down to the ground, get behind the Second Eleven and make some noise.
Come on, Lowerhouse!
#UTH 💛💙
