House Submit Major Planning Application

Lowerhouse Cricket club have submitted a major planning application to Burnley Borough Council.
The proposed two and half storey development, will replace then existing tea room structure and provide an extension to the existing club house to provide additional private function space, new and additional female toilets, defined baby changing facilities and the provision of a lift,  a members bar, a conference room, meeting rooms, a classroom, improved changing facilities (which will be accessible to all) and a community kitchen/cafe. The project will be subject to a successful application to the Youth Investment Fund.
The proposed facilities will be multifunctional for all members of the community and users of the site. The development will provide improved all-round facilities to benefit the Club and all its users.
This is the first step of a complex process but we hope to progress matters over the next few months.
We will aim to provide more information as this project develops but if you have any queries tik at this stage please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
In the meantime, we are seeking expressions of interests from schools, community groups and any other organisations that may be interested in using the facilities should we be successful.
To express interest please email matthew@lowerhousecc.com and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss with you.
